TRACS®: Total Room Air Cleaning System
Solidly built in the USA to eliminate ≥99% of viruses, bacteria, odors, allergens and VOC's
3-Stage Air Purification
TRACS® combines medical-grade HEPA filtration, ultraviolet germicidal (UVC) and activated carbon technologies to eliminate human coronaviruses, bacteria, odors, dust, allergens, and volatile organic compounds at ≥99% efficiency.
Quiet Operation
A four speed blower made exclusively for TRACS® offers the quietest and most efficient air flow on the market. The low Whisp-Air® speed allows for silent operation while still maintaining hospital-grade efficiency.
Easy, Low Cost Maintenance
No tools are required to replace filters or UVC bulbs. Average costs of only $60/yr for the CarbonWeb® pre-filter pouches; $150 every 2 years for a new HEPA filter; and $39 every 18 months for the UVC bulbs.
Outside Construction
- Hand-crafted, 18 gauge solid steel housing that is welded together and has a lifetime warranty.
- Durable powder-coated finish, available in sandstone, white, black, pink or custom colors.
- Locking wheels for sturdy operation and smooth mobility.
- Dimensions: 15.5″H x 15″D x 22″H.
- Weight: 50 lbs.
Inside Workings
- Patented CarbonWeb® pre-filter removes odors, chemicals, toxic gases, and volatile organic compounds using activated carbon technology.
- Four high dosage (254nm) UVC lamps (1) destroy airborne viruses and smaller bacteria and (2) keep the HEPA filter free from mold and bacteria growth. This second function is possible because of the location of the UVC lamps, which is before the HEPA filter. The UVC lamps radiate onto the filter’s dirty/collection side, destroying mold and bacteria growth on the HEPA filter, which in turn extends the life of the HEPA filter and protects the person changing the filter against infection from the dirty filter. No other air cleaner on the market today has UVC lamps located in the same position as TRACS®.
- Medical-grade certified HEPA filter with a substantial 80 sq ft of media removes harmful dust, particulate, allergens, pet dander, and more at 99.99% efficiency. Because there is no bypass around the HEPA filter, nothing is released back into the room. Testing with a laser particle counter shows zero particles coming out of the unit.
Controls and Indicator Lights
- Control knob to select one of 4 operational speeds: ultra-quiet “whisper mode,” low, medium or high. Multiple speeds allow for maximum air efficiency at noise levels (54-62 dB) suitable for residential and commercial use.
- Toggle on/off switch for UVC lights.
- Two UVC bulb indicator lights (one for each set of 2 lamps) that let you know if any of the UVC lamps are burned out. When the lamps are working, the indicator lights will illuminate when the toggle switch is turned on; the indicator light(s) will remain off if any of the corresponding bulbs are burned out. The UVC lights should be replaced every 12 months even if they are not burned out, since the UVC lamp’s efficiency significantly decreases after 12 months.
- HEPA filter indicator light illuminates when the filter is clogged with particulate buildup. TRACS® monitors HEPA filter loading by a differential pressure switch that measures air resistance through the filters, not by a timer, so that you get maximum usage out of the HEPA filter before replacing.
