• Strong Steam: For the highest volume of steam, set the steam dial to 5 to remove soap scum, set-in stains, and grease.
• Normal Steam: Depending on the intensity of the dirt or stain, use 2 – 4 for normal steam output on carpets, rugs, glass, and floors.
• Gentle Steam: Set the dial to 1, and put out gentle steam for delicate fabrics, wall coverings, sofas, and plants.

Hardwood-Terracotta Steam Cleaning Function

Great for people with allergies, pets, the EcoSteam Vac will help you keep your hardwood floors clear of pet hair, dander, and other allergens with the hardwood floor setting. Designed to work with alternating steam and a continuous vacuum suction, you can gently break apart dirt on your hardwoods and then dry the remaining moisture off the floor.

Simply attach the wood floor cloth on the universal brush head with the rubber frame, and press the steam only button. Once the boiler is ready, hit the boiler button again to activate the hardwood-terracotta floor function. A lower rate of steam pulses out in segments that is better for the wood or terracotta tiles.

The Effectiveness of Water Filtration

The water filter generates a vortex inside the dirt collector: the centrifugal force pushes the dirt to the bottom of the collector and water traps it, preventing it from scattering and recirculating in the air. The air in the house is cleaner, without using chemical detergents.
